My research looks at how radiation affects our cells. Now, at Edinburgh, I work with scientists and communities to share passion for science

I grew up in Poland and moved to the UK to study at the University! I graduated from Bradford University as a Biomedical Scientist and read Radiaiton Biology at Oxford University. I became really interested in free radicals (excesses are connected to ageing and cancer). I then moved to complete PhD at University of Edinburgh where I looked at one of the aspects of molecular environmental change (redox potential) inside of cells which were undergoing process known as programmed cell death (apoptosis).

Currently, I work as Wideing Participation and Outreach Public Engagement officer for @EdinburghChem! I am glad to work with scientists and communities to share passion for science (in particular chemistry) as relevant and important! Everyone can do it! The more the merrier!
